If you have an emergency during regular hours, call us and we will do our best to work you in. Our ability to accommodate emergencies will depend upon the time of day, the regularly scheduled appointment load, and our present support staff availability. If an emergency arises after our regular clinic hours, please call MedVet Akron at 330-665-4996.
An important part of our mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our patients as possible. Many of our clients have found pet insurance to be helpful as they plan a budget and budget for their pet's health care, and there are a variety of options from which to choose.
To assist you, we provide the following payment options:
- Cash
- Visa/MasterCard/Discover/American Express
- CareCredit - patient plans that allow you to pay over time with convenient, low monthly payments*

If leaving your pet with us for the day would be more convenient for you, you can drop your pet off in the early part of the day and we will call you with an estimate and a treatment plan. Please call in advance to let us know this is what you prefer and to determine if we have availability that day.
