Small Business Saturday

We’re going to take a quick break away from the medicine and surgery side of our blog and give a few quick thoughts to the upcoming Small Business Saturday on November 26.

Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic is a small business serving the needs of pet owners in Cuyahoga Falls and the surrounding communities. Dr. Doug Gates was raised in Cuyahoga Falls, as was Dr. Ryan Gates. The Clinic employs a staff of five fantastic veterinary technicians and assistants, all of whom were raised in and now live in the area. We all have a vested interest in seeing a thriving local economy.

All of us at the Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic participate in the local economy. We get our groceries at Giant Eagle and Acme. We purchase our gasoline at local and locally owned Circle K and BP stations. We eat at local restaurants like El Meson and Mandarin House, etc. We hire local contractors like Ruhlin and Blind & Sons. We donate our resources and time to local curches and charities. Again, all of us at Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic are interested in promoting the local economy, and we take an active role in doing so.

When our clients utilize our services and patronize our business, resources are kept here in the local economy. Whether it is a wellness visit, emergency surgery, or the purchase of monthly parasite control for your pet, you are helping to drive the local economy when you come to Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic. It may be unusual to think of veterinary care in this way, but the truth is that the providers of your pet’s health care are part of your community! We are grateful for our clients and the loyal pet owners that have helped our veterinary practice grow year after year. We appreciate your business, and we do not take any of you for granted. We take our role in the community very seriously, and we want to see a growing, vibrant Cuyahoga Falls!

So on Saturday, November 26, remember to shop small. Whether it is here at Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic, or another small business in the Cuyahoga Falls area, take part in making sure the local economy thrives!
