Tracie Springer graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has been practicing in the northeast Ohio region since then, joining our team in the autumn of 2021. She has a special interest in dentistry and surgery.

In her spare time Dr. Springer enjoys hiking and watching horror movies with her cat, Hopper.

Department:

Dr. Jenn graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Having practiced at Village Veterinary Clinic in Mayfield Village for a number of years, Dr. Jenn left full-time practice in 2012.  She joined the CFVC team in 2015 and sees appointments on Mondays & Tuesdays, in addition to other times of need.

When she's not involved in veterinary medicine, Dr. Jenn is training for and playing in USTA events, creating travel plans, and cooking up a fantastic meal with whatever ingredients are in her kitchen.

Department:

Dr. Ryan Gates grew up in Cuyahoga Falls is graduated from Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy  in 1997, then from Lipscomb University in 2001.  After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 200, he immediately joined the Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic. He especially enjoys the surgical and dental care areas of veterinary medicine.

Drs. Ryan and Jenn were married between their second and third years of veterinary school, and they have three children.

He has been instrumental in mentoring future veterinarians.  One of his students, the now Dr. Shelby Drogemuller, graduated from Wisconsin's College of Veterinary Medicine and became an associate at CFVC for a time before moving back to Wisconsin to live closer to family.  Others are currently at Iowa State and Auburn nearing completion, while a couple are in the undergraduate pipeline at various universities. He's also taken on veterinary students from Minnesota, Purdue, and Georgia for externship opportunities.

Veterinary medicine is not his identity, though, and he enjoys life outside of vet med through traveling, hiking, and photography.  And if you need a fourth on the pickle ball court, give him a call. :)
