Veterinarian

Presently wrapping up her education at the University of Illinois' College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Fabry will begin seeing patients in July of 2026.

Department:

Tracie Springer graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has been practicing in the northeast Ohio region since then, joining our team in the autumn of 2021.

Dr. Springer is an integral part of our team both professionally and personally.  She has a special interest in dentistry and surgery, and has taken on the role of directing fun social activities for the CFVC team, from pool parties to axe throwing to rage room fun.

In her spare time Dr. Springer enjoys hiking and watching horror movies with her cat, Hopper.

Department:

Dr. Jenn graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Having practiced at Village Veterinary Clinic in Mayfield Village for a number of years, Dr. Jenn left full-time practice in 2012.  She joined the CFVC team in 2015 and sees appointments on Mondays & Tuesdays, in addition to other times of need.

Dr. Jenn is particularly skilled at taking on a complex medical case as a second opinion and digging into the history and previous records to determine a plan to help the patient.  In this era of backed up schedules at the specialty level, she is a wonderful resource at the general practice level.

When she's not involved in veterinary medicine, Dr. Jenn is training for and playing in USTA events, creating travel plans, and cooking up a fantastic meal with whatever ingredients are in her kitchen.

Department:

Dr. Ryan Gates grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and is an alum of both Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy ('97) & Lipscomb University ('01).  After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, he immediately joined the Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic. He especially enjoys the surgical and dental care areas of veterinary medicine.

Drs. Ryan and Jenn were married between their second and third years of veterinary school, and they have three children.

Dr. Ryan has been instrumental in mentoring future veterinarians.  One of his students, the now Dr. Shelby Drogemuller, graduated from Wisconsin's College of Veterinary Medicine and became an associate at CFVC for a time before moving back to Wisconsin to live closer to family. A second, Iowa State graduate Dr. Leah Hayes, will soon be joining the practice!  Others have graduated from colleges of veterinary medicine at Auburn, Minnesota, Purdue, and Georgia, while still others are in undergraduate pipelines around the country.

Veterinary medicine is not his identity, though, and he enjoys life outside of vet med through traveling, hiking, and photography.  And if you need a fourth on the pickle ball court, give him a call. :)
